Seems like this past weekend was the weekend where all of a sudden there are tons of people walking around outside smiling and buying beer in the AM to drink on rooftops in the sunshine. It’s only appropriate that this feel-good vibe gets a boost at the top of this week this Tuesday 4/16 at Elsewhere.
Having released The Seduction of Kansas earlier this year, it’s time for DC punks Priests to return to Brooklyn and share with us that feel-good vibe that’s unmistakably theirs. Between Katie Alice Greer’s bright tone and drummer Daniele Daniele’s upfront rhythms, this album is instantly easy to listen to. Super stoked to see how the new lineup and new sound hold up live at everyone’s favorite overpriced Bushwick venue. But hey, if you’re going to buy yourself one $13 Pacifico this spring, it might as well be at a Priests show on a warm Tuesday. Treat yourself, you deserve it.
