AfroPunk Fest is one of Brooklyn’s best of the smaller festivals. This year, they’ve booked a pretty solid lineup including Danny Brown, DEATH, and the impossibly young metal heads, Unlocking the Truth. Get there early to check out Rye Rye, whose collaboration with M.I.A., “Bang,” is still one of my favorite songs. Don’t forget to RSVP before you go!
