The Nino Mier Gallery in Soho is slated to host the Strata group collection opening, which will be held from 6-8 p.m. on June 26.
The gallery will exhibit the paintings of five artists – Connie Harrison, Gregory Hodge, Lucienne O’Mara, Alexandria Tarver, and Ana Villagomez.
Strata is highlighting the idea of layers throughout all of the artists’ works, and uplifting each painter’s unique journeys in their art, upbringings, and careers.
A stunning triptych of Alexandria Tarver’s paintings is displayed in every downtown cool kid’s favorite Lower East Side rock bars, Victoria! It makes for a striking juxtaposition to see her profound, alluring art amongst the backdrop of music-head, heavy-drinking downtown scenesters and tastemakers. We’re excited to see her work alongside the international and NYC-local artists in Strata at Nino Mier’s regal Soho gallery.
The exhibition is open from June 26 to August 9.
