Coming to you from Northern California, Happy Diving delivers noisy punk with a splash of a pop, feeling almost reminiscent of the signature moodiness of Pedro the Lion. Their most recent single, “Complacent,” comes off their debut, self-titled EP, released back in mid-January on Father/Daughter Records, and it’s a refreshing, feed-back fueled track, with just the right amount of drive and grit. The fuzzy back and forth between angst and anger hits hard and authentic, and you can’t help but hit replay and experience it again. Give it a listen and see what I mean.
And if you can’t get enough, definitely be sure to pick up their very recently released, limited edition cassette of their EP here.
