LA producer Liphemra has just released “magazines,” an experimental electronica track that flirts with elements of pop, noise, and R&B. The fragility of Liphemra’s vocals is the perfect complement to the synth tones, which go back and forth from scuzzy rumble to bright, otherworldly treble, and increasingly restless drum work. No word on future releases just yet, but you can bet we’re going to be watching this one very closely.
