Mr. Dream bring refreshingly noisy punk to the table in “Cheap Heat,” the latest single off of their upcoming LP, The Ultimate in Luxury. It’s more up front and abrasive than their previous single, “Fringy Slider,” yet just as inviting. The combination of propulsive drums, squelching guitar, and warbling vocals give the track an appealing boldness and urgency, and the deceptively simple hook makes sure to burrow itself snugly in your head.
