Producers Sean C & LV will be releasing Loud Dreams Vol. 1 on March 25th. While they aren’t necessarily household names, they’ve collected an impressive amount of talent to rap on the album. It includes features from Pusha T, Bun B, Busta Rhymes, Prodigy, A$AP Ferg, Smoke Dza, Big K.R.I.T., and Tree to name a few (and that is only around half of those involved). “Hand In My Pocket” features two of last year’s best and brightest in Pusha T and A$AP Ferg.
The beat feels made for Pusha T’s grimy style, and he doesn’t disappoint, using his rap veteran status to his advantage. Ferg then jumps in and sounds completely unhinged, while still dropping some impressive lines (including one where he mentions being bipolar, which backs up his haphazard style on the song even more). It all comes together quite nicely, and if Sean C & LV can tailor make a beat for these two so well, it will be interesting to see what they can do for the rest of the guests on the album.
