
Electro-pop trio Vaults emerged from the Internet ether last year with “Cry No More,” a glistening track worthy of infinite replays. The song received heavy praise from listeners and notable blogs alike but little else was, and is, known about the mysterious London-based outfit.
Their most recent offering “Lifespan” dropped earlier this week and it’s moody, twinkle-laden and basically beautiful. The trio channels a range of new and old influences, from London Grammar to Kate Bush (minus all the lavender light and leotards) with shades of Florence + The Machine sprinkled in between. The almost four-minute cut soothes, uplifts and amazes from start to finish. Listen below.
