Well people, it’s almost Halloween. And we plan on celebrating all month! Now, we need to figure out what we should be listening to in order to stay at a healthy level of freaked out. I’m not saying we should be so scared that we stop going outside and have to survive entirely on Seamless deliveries. I mean, we should be creeped out enough that we start to think the nice lady at the 99 cent store might actually be a serial killer, that the weird 4×5 alley way outside my bathroom window, is in fact, a portal to hell. So, where can we find a mixtape that will leave us having to sleep with The Cosby Show playing in order to ward off evil spirits? Well, I looked online and what I found was cheesy, hackneyed, boring, or lame. The only scary thing about the playlists I found were the curators’ poor taste in music (kidding!). Anyway, we decided to put together our own Spooky Mixtape, just for you. Now, some of these songs are not traditionally spooky, but if you should get to a song and find yourself saying, “this shit ain’t spooky,” stop and play it the next time you’re walking alone in the woods or through an abandoned building. Then get back to me.
