A Show For The Yellow Dogs with Nada Surf, Shirin Neshat, Hamish Kilgour, Kyp Malone, Luke Temple, Habibi + More @ Brooklyn Bowl 6pm ($15)
You know by now that Brooklyn-via-Iran dance punks The Yellow Dogs suffered a terrible tragedy last week. Thankfully, a bunch of amazing musicians are getting together to throw a benefit/memorial show, including Alt Citizen faves Habibi, amongst many other great bands like Nada Surf, Dinowalrus, and Hamish Kilgour of The Clean (whose “Anything Could Happen” is one of the most perfect songs I’ve ever heard).
