Schoolboy Q is part of Compton’s TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment) — you may have heard of another member of the troupe, Kendrick Lamar. Could Kendrick himself be the special guest at the bottom of the flyer? Who knows, but Schoolboy’s Habits & Contradictions was one of my favorite rap releases last year. “Collard Greens” that should be out on the highly anticipated Oxymoron later this year is a more recent single(also featuring Lamar), check it out here. Don’t miss him at one of the few rap and hip hop heavy CMJ lineups at Webster Hall tonight.
