So it’s been like 9 months since shows and parties have been cancelled from life, and about that long since I’ve continued to share photos from that life. At the time the idea of any such closing was unfathomable. Now it’s been so long, it’s hard to imagine that one day any of this will exist again. Will people still remember what life was like?

GIFT is TJ’s first NY band, after playing and touring in various other bands like Gymshorts, and features members of various other local bands often seen in these posts.

Every year around Christmas, for maybe 10 or more years, there’s a Black Sabbath party in a warehouse loft on Lorimer St. They play every Sabbath record in chronological order, and when they get to Changes, this pentagram is painted, and then play the rest of Sabbath’s records. Last year’s painting got a little skewed.
