Burning Palms‘ new music video would make Indiana Jones’ skin crawl. It’s a psychedelic, Egyptian experience that is hypnotic and soothing. Images of sleeping women and hair crawling on them like snakes, along with crumbled crystals and mystical symbols, flash before your eyes as a driving guitar and harmonic howls lull you into a comatose state. A highlight off the band’s recent self-titled debut, “Thorns” shows off the band’s unique brand of “witch rock” with a sound that belongs out in the western deserts of America.
