Girlpool, a minimalist folk duo made up of longtime friends Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad, just released an animated video for “Plants and Worms,” a single from their upcoming self-titled EP. The video follows a protagonist who would much rather stay in bed than greet day and how they eventually adventure into this monster-ridden world wielding a pair of scissors, searching for life. The track is sweet, simple, and catchy, capitalizing on tender harmonies and guitar accompaniment to help tell the story of bravery and acceptance we all have to go through on a daily basis.
