H. Hawkline, the moniker of Welsh singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Huw Gwynfryn Evans, just released a video for “Spooky Dog,” a poppy, psychedelic track from his recent album In The Pink Of Condition. Interspersed with animation and collage, the hazy video finds Evans gorging himself on on some food, staring down a spooky dog, and inconspicuously wearing a knight’s helmet. From the grainy video footage to the bright, sway-inducing melodies, Evans has created an ambiance that’s nostalgic of the ’70s. If you’re looking for a throwback to stranger times, this one’s for you.
