Watch: Lykke Li “Love Me Like I’m Not Made of Stone”

In support of her upcoming third studio album, I Never Learn, Lykke Li has debuted a music video for another track off the new record. “Love Me Like I’m Not Made of Stone” is a bare, heartbreakingly honest song, featuring lines like, “will you love my scars so I can heal” and similar detail of her emotional anguish. The video, her third collaboration with director Tarik Saleh, follows suit, consisting in its entirety of a close-up of Li, looking about as broken and damaged as we’ve seen her since, well, the first video from the album, for the title track “I Never Learn.” She slowly rotates away from and back towards the camera, her face at times completely obscured by darkness. From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like the new record, which was co-produced by Peter Bjorn and John bassist Björn Yttling and Greg Kurstin, will include some darker, more intimate material than we’ve previously seen. Watch below.

I Never Learn is out on LL Recordings/Atlantic on May 5.
