We already shared details of Parquet Courts’ new album Sunbathing Animal, along with a track of the same name a week or so ago. Now the band has released a video for the song, and it fits their nonchalant style very well. The Andy Capper (of Vice/Noisy, who premiered the video) directed video focuses on Frida, the two year old cat owned by lead singer Andrew Savage. The black and white shot video gives us a glimpse into the life of Frida, who looks out the window, scratches the couch, and does many other lazy cat things. The video also includes interstitial flashes of smiling faces, notching the weirdness level up a couple numbers. Check it out below.
