It seems that Sia can do no wrong. After her infectious (aren’t they all, though?) chart topper “Chandelier,” the powerhouse songstress is back with uber-talented dancer Maddie Ziegler for “Elastic Heart.” Of course the nude leotard is back, but this time it brought a friend. Serious-faced Shia LaBeouf, who has been hiding that fantastic body from us, joins the cage match with Ziegler to create a performance that’s not only beautiful but also quite sad.
The two dance and contort around the cage, making equally strange faces at one another, and the wordless, heartbreaking last few seconds measure equally with Sia’s crackling lyrics. I actually wouldn’t mind if I never heard Shia speak again — he has definitely mastered letting his face do the talking.
